A. What information do we gather?
We may collect the following information: name and job title; contact information including email address, demographic information such as postal zip code, preferences and interests, and other information relevant to use patterns, use surveys and/or offers. For example, when you access our Website, your Internet address is automatically collected and is placed in our Internet access logs.
B. What about sensitive personal data?
C. How do we gather information? Information is gathered in two ways:
(1) Indirectly, such as using our site’s technology to collect ‘cookies.’ Cookies are small pieces of data that are transferred to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser from our Web Server, for example, indicating how you entered our site, how you navigated through the site and what information was of interest to you. A cookie cannot read data from your hard disk or read cookie files that may have been created from other sites, and usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site.
You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings of your browser. Typically, by accessing the browser’s help feature, you can obtain information on how to prevent your browser from accepting all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent. If you choose not to accept these cookies, your experience at our website and other websites may be diminished, and some features may not work as intended.
(2) Directly, such as when you provide information on various pages of the Website. Throughout our site, we may provide the opportunity for you to voluntarily submit information to use when you register for items, such as an event or a newsletter. When we collect this type of information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for information, and how this information will be used. It is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.
D. What we do with the information we gather?
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyze data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system. The information helps us to understand your needs and interests, and to improve our products and services. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. We analyze it to determine what is most effective about our site, to help us identify ways to improve it, and eventually, to determine how we can tailor it to make it more effective. We may also use data for other purposes, which we would describe to you at the point we collect the information. We may periodically send promotional email about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, or mail, or to customize the website according to your interests. We may provide your information to our third- party partners for marketing or promotional purposes.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
F. Links to other websites.
Our website may contain links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
G. Checking and correcting your personal information.
You may request access to your personal information and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. You can do this by contacting us via our Site Administrator. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
